Articles
This site and all its parts are the work of H. Da Boves, and the following articles pave the way to begin understanding the eusocial mentality.
The Eusocial Codex – Codex Eusocialis
The Eusocial Codex is a collection of research, inventions, diagrams, and drawings that explore the evolutionary potential of eusociality for us humans. It is available in digital version and in paper version too. Unfortunately, it is only available in Italian for now.
Expansion I
Expansion I is an artwork created collaboratively using a technique inspired by the stigmergic construction of eusocial animals.

Mixed media on hardboard, 2023
The clay tablets in the center serve as instructions to complete the artwork. This method is inspired by “stigmergic construction” employed by eusocial insects such as ants, bees, termites, etc. It is also how things are generated in Nature, through ordered actions and interactions among elements, following cues in the environment. This is a very recurring form in Nature, so the artwork may evoke various associations.

The tablet on the right explains: “Extend a line by approaching the edge without crossing over other lines.” The tablet on the left adds: “When there is a finger’s width between one line and another, start a new line.”
As long as the artwork is incomplete, cotton swabs, a jar of black paint, and a basket to deposit used cotton swabs are provided. Anyone can complete the artwork by following the two simple instructions in the center.
